Gustav Dore’s legacy
The video project uses the paintings of Gustav Dore, who passed away 200 years ago. Dore painted Bible stories in black and white. With relevant verses from the Bible, we animated and colored the images and presented them in a video. This video project is an appreciation of Gustav Dora’s legacy. With the combination of his paintings and Bible verses, viewers are able to experience the beauty of the stories on a whole new level.
Emotional experience

We repainted and animated the drawings of Dore, then added bible verses and narration to create bible story video art that can be displayed at home or in church!
